Sedum Carpet Green Roof System
ZinCo’s standard extensive build-up — protection mat, Floradrain FD 25-E drainage and water storage, filter sheet, mineral substrate and pre-grown sedum — everything above the waterproofing, declared per m² as one system. Green roofs are specified as build-ups rather than as loose components, and ZinCo’s declaration covers the whole system rather than the sedum alone. Production is 5.99 kgCO2e/m², and the declaration makes no carbon-sequestration claim for the plants — the roof’s case is biodiversity, stormwater retention and membrane protection, not offsetting. A lighter Fixodrain XD 20 build-up is declared at 2.9 kgCO2e/m² in the same family.
