KLH® CLT
Cross-laminated timber: layers of PEFC-certified spruce stacked crosswise and bonded with formaldehyde-free PU adhesive into large solid-wood panels. Made to order up to 16.5 × 3.5 m and 60–500 mm thick, for walls, floors and roofs.

Sourced Product Claims
1 claim is held in the staging record but not presented as product evidence because an exact public source has not yet been mapped.
Evidence Sources
EPD International (environdec.com) · PDF p. 9, main environmental performance results, Scenario 1
Coverage: The declaration reports representative KLH cross-laminated timber at 470 kg/m³; project thickness and quantity must be applied separately.
Comparison Status
The record contains the basic metadata required for a controlled comparison. Products must still perform the same function and use compatible units, PCRs and lifecycle scope.
Evidence Gaps
- •1 sustainability claim is withheld because exact public evidence is not mapped.
Design & Specification Notes
Qualitative notes for early design discussion. Not product-specific EPD evidence, and not a basis for numerical comparison.
Cross-laminated timber: layers of PEFC-certified spruce stacked crosswise and bonded with formaldehyde-free PU adhesive into large solid-wood panels.
Typical Uses
- •Primary frame
- •Long-span elements
- •Load-bearing supports
Key Performance
High load-bearing capacity for primary frame.
Specification Actions
- •Confirm FSC or PEFC certification for all timber products.
- •Request chain-of-custody documentation from supplier.
- •Confirm the current EPD covers the selected product, finish and manufacturing route.
Indicative Health & Indoor Air
Solid timber with formaldehyde-free PU adhesive; no added-formaldehyde emissions.
