Swedoor ADVANCE-LINE Interior Door
A standard 40 mm unglazed interior door leaf from JELD-WEN’s Swedoor ADVANCE-LINE — honeycomb or tubular core between HDF faces on a softwood frame, factory-painted. It is the ordinary door of Nordic and UK housebuilding, and unusually for an internal door it carries a declared figure at all. The declaration is per square metre of leaf: production is a modest 11.3 kgCO2e/m² because the timber and board content holds 27.6 kgCO2e of biogenic carbon against 38.8 of fossil emissions — and the same declaration returns +30.3 at end-of-life incineration, the usual timber waterfall.

Carbon and evidence
Product Evidence
Evidence currently held for the JELD-WEN product record.
Recorded Carbon Result
A1–A3 GWP-total per m² of door leaf (18.76 kg): 38.8 fossil less 27.6 biogenic held in the timber and wood-based boards. A standard single leaf (~1.66 m²) is therefore ~19 kgCO2e to produce. The biogenic store returns as +30.3 at end-of-life incineration (C3), so cradle-to-grave is positive.
Indicator: GWP-total
A1–A3 covers raw-material supply, transport to manufacture and manufacturing. It is product-stage information, not a whole-life result.

Swedoor ADVANCE-LINE Unclassified Interior doors, 40 mm, unglazed, Craft. Declared per m² of leaf, not per door — a standard 838 × 1981 mm leaf is ~1.66 m², so ~18.7 kgCO2e per door at the declared figure. Sibling declarations cover the glazed and classified variants (HUB-0988 and others). Production in Finland and Denmark; the declared manufacturer address is JELD-WEN, Sheffield.
