Hot-rolled ribbed steel reinforcing bar (rebar) for reinforced concrete. Made in Cardiff from 100% recycled scrap in an electric-arc furnace. The EPD declares 330 kgCO2e/tonne at A1-A3, for a declared unit produced with a 100% renewable electricity mix with guarantee of origin. Reinforcement is a core structural material; the EPD covers A1–A3 + end-of-life + recycling benefit (module D).
